This game is pretty good! The chemistry between the people in the story were pretty organic and convincing for most of them! Every episode has something new or interesting to bring to the table. The world building is all so well woven into each other. The locations, the settings, the mood, the themes, and the atmosphere were mostly all very well done as well. The H scenes were ample enough to let the feelings be expressed to the reader. I'm not exactly playing these games to get off but rather to see how these different devs take on something that's normally made for the sole purpose of getting a person off (Well I also tend to get bored with regular visual novels because the characters are limited to how they show they're love for each other so I play these AVN's focusing on their plots). For me, this game is up there amongst the top tier AVN's! If you know them, you know them. I won't drop other games out of respect for devs in their own comment section and I don't want to seem like I'm advertising. If I do have to be critical about the game then I will now state the very small problems I had with the game but I don't hate these either! Still no spoilers ahead so don't worry. The timeline at the very beginning. Things just passed by way too fast and the events didn't seem to have a ground to stand on so it came off weak but so did some of the other masterpieces I've read/played so it's fine. The late begining chapters till the early end chapters were the most perfect parts. The last chapters had this H scene problem. Unlike the perfect chapters, the end just didn't have that connection that the characters portrayed in the perfect chapters.... It was especially evident on the very last H scene (season 1) because it just jumped cut to the action. I was a little disappointed because these two really had something special and yet they didn't have that special spark that the other chapters have. I just felt like it was a teensy bit rushed. With that being said, it's still up there amongst the greatest AVN's I've ever played/read (S tier) and there were only 7 of them... Now there's 8 AVN's in my personal S-tier list. This really is a wonderful game and I hope that season 2 will live up to it's previous season and I hope that the Dev's devlife and irl life stays well! Thank you for the absolutely fantastic story/game that you made Flynn974! You're doing great!

These aren't necessarily only the ones in my S-tier list, some of them are in the A-tier list. The ones I tagged "careful" are AVN's that has some morality problems and/or are emotionally heavy (can't specify as comment would be too long). I could go into details why these are the ones I recommended but this really isn't the place. But the short version is that these AVN's are very story rich and focused, good at said story, and sometimes player choice heavy which I appreciate for more personalization. These aren't the only AVN's that Id recommend and know but these are the ones that I could think of on the top of my head (plus if you intend on reading all these, it should keep you occupied for like a week's at the very least for up to a year if you space them out lol). If you're still curious about the details and would like me to spill details rather than checking them out yourself, I can drop my email and all that.

I have to tell you Flynn, Season 1 was quite good, and as of Season 2 your creation has all of the things a truly superb AVN should have. A good MC for starters, plus a good story, story line, dialogue, humor, graphics, and very attractive likable characters. Add to that the nicely done action scenes, and a plethora of very well crafted hentai scenes with audio, and it really does have it all. The only minor improvement I could suggest is since your friends with Atemsiel, perhaps you could ask him about using the same h-scene audio he uses in Stormside. I am very much looking forward to more content from you.
I just finished Season 1, I gave the story a go but found it dull at the start so I skipped up until later (won't spoil) and then the story got so damn good I ended up reading it by accident and then slowed down to read it carefully. I feel earlier chapters need polishing but damn am I excited for later releases, I'll wait till we have a few more chapters of season 2 before I start it but great damn job with the characters. Also at some point a character named Riley showed up and I just froze and went "wait isn't that...yeah..this IS FROM STORMY SIDE NO?" and went to doublecheck, the end credits confirmed my suspicion.

I have to add cause I went to replay the game and made different choices. I feel like if the player CHOOSES to NOT sleep at the "hub" area (trynna avoid even early spoilers) and instead return home. It keeps the reader more invested in the story. Outside of the scene h scenes that is. I went through it once and the second play through i was like "WAIT I COULD MEET THEM THIS EARLY?" not to mention the choice of saving a certain girl feeling an important choice even though it may not be. But yeah I absolutely love your work, more of this please

If you ever find the time, I think it would really help with new player retention if you polished up the first hour or so.
The game noticably improves with each chapter, but new players like me might stop before the game reaches that extremely high level of quality later chapters have.
Speaking as someone who really warmed up to the story after getting through those early parts, it would be a shame for people to miss out on this amazing game just because of that.

This game is absolutely phenomenal, I found it while waiting for Chapter 10 of Companion of Darkness (Amazing game I recommend it too). I believe he means where characters stats are shown. I don't see Misty either, but in walkthroughs I see her stats can go up but because she's not in the stats screen, no stats are going up.
I loaded my end-of-season-1 save in season 2 chapter 1, and encountered an exception when trying to look at the second page of the character list (as I thought it’d be a good idea to remind myself who everyone was). stats__lore.rpy line 38 refers to succubus_incountered, which isn’t defined. I guess that’s a typo and the real variable name is succubus_encountered with an e instead of an i.
It didn’t happen when I went back into the character list shortly afterwards after the scene had finished, so possibly I was looking at a scene from the tail end of the previous update and the variable was created when I got to the first season two scene.

there's a minor spelling mistake in the scene after the weird humanoid thing is restrained. Venus says "lighting isn't doing anything" when she's supposed to say "lightning". (itch doesn't let me post the screenshot for some reason)
i think some of the earlier chapters would do good with a remastering. both in terms of writing and visuals, they are really outdated. i think it would be good to consider that.
As someone who feels a rework would do wonders for certain parts of the game, I agree that this is likely the best approach for you to take. With each chapter you are building the skeleton of the game, and before you have it complete, or very near complete, it may be hard to judge where it needs "more muscle" or where it needs "some fat trimmed". Once the skeleton of the game is complete or near complete, you will be able to make those calls easier, since you will know what was the journey each character took through the story, and the journey the story itself told; a better idea of the whole body you created. Knowing that, it'll be easier to identiy what parts need to be adjusted to be more in line to those narrative threads, what needs to be removed because it's too in conflict with them, etc.
